Greetings fellow friends and environmentalist,

Sabah is gifted with the richest biodiversity in the world. We are lucky to still have marine wealth, flora and fauna – the rivers, valleys and mountains topped by Mt. Kinabalu that we must preserve for future generations to witness. I’m proud to say that Sabah is the world’s green lung with a diversity ranked as the world’s number 1.

We must safeguard this precious treasure, and that is how SEPA comes into the picture. SEPA’s main objective is to conserve the Environment for future generations by giving awareness to all citizens about the importance of preserving the rich biodiversity. Everyday we face challenges in terms of massive irresponsible and unsustainable development – activities that can jeopardize our environment, the economy and ourselves.

We have the best opportunity & environmental criteria to develop this state into a world model for a Green Economy. We understand and realize the importance and seriousness of the problems that we face daily and therefore will strive to safeguard our God-given treasures.

We are calling all citizens, no matter where you are and what you do – come join us and let us strive towards this effort. Together we can develop a society that is aware and responsible to protect nature, engaging with the authorities together with the grassroots in the decision making process for a better tomorrow for our future generations.

With the cooperation of all, we can march on towards a GREEN REVOLUTION resulting in citizens with heightened awareness and a realization to preserve NATURE for the good of all.
